The act respecting administrative justice

 Institutes the Tribunal administratif du Québec.

 Determines the absolute jurisdictions of the Tribunal’s divisions and the rules concerning the members making up the Tribunal.

 Sets out the rules concerning the operation of the Tribunal.

 Enacts the rules of evidence and procedure specific to the Tribunal.

The Act respecting administrative justice  was passed by the Québec government on December 13, 1996 and has been in effect since April 1, 1998.

The Act may be quoted as follows: An Act respecting administrative justice (R.S.Q., c. J-3).
